Easy Money

I’ve been playing for a while and I’m not always in the mood to have to play a game to get money when all I want to do is just buy items to decorate my houses. I was thinking that there should be a system where everyone gets payed a small amount after playing for about 5-10 minutes. I’m not asking for a lot of money so people would still play games if they wanted to make better money. I just want to be able to be in the game and do things I want without having to make myself bored by forcing myself into playing a mini-game so I can get to the things that I find fun in this game.

Trivia is fairly quick and pays an ok amount, if you’re looking to buy furniture.

Timed payouts might encourage idling, so I’d stray from that idea.

Like Cakemagic said there is trivia which pays a fair bit.
And with a bit of practice there is bowling which pays 200 for an open frame (some of the pins are left), 600 for a spare (you knocked down the remaining pins with your second all) and 800 for a strike (knock down all pins in one go).
And if you do a perfect game you get 14,400 Units.
The typing derby might earn you a fair bit of money, but im not sure how much.

If you’re feeling lucky and want to watch some videos, I’ve found that going to the casino and putting TU into a small window with YouTube (or any other video service) playing off to the side is a nice way to idle some cash (presuming you don’t end up losing it; this is gambling, after all).

Probably a bypass for it idling is when you get the AFK icon, you dont get any units (simular to any minigame)
Of course, I think someone would figure out how to bypass it.

How about jobs?

This is an idea that comes from Minecraft minigame servers that used a global currency.

Players usually had to spend this currency to buy upgrades and cosmetics to ‘show off’ when playing minigames, and while minigames were the primary way to earn this currency, a lot of MC minigame servers also had jobs.

It was mundane, repetitive, low payout stuff like cutting down trees, farming wheat, or whatever click-task the server admins would set up for players, but usually the payout was low and time gated. Still, it was enough for those who were waiting for friends to log on or for certain minigames to start to earn a lil extra money.

So, for Tower Unite, perhaps they could create jobs that are basically just single player minigames. Maybe you can only ‘work’ for a maximum of 1 hour per day, and 5 hours per week. They payout should be decent so that, like you said, you can afford simple decorations, but if you want to earn anything quicker than that, you have to do minigames and, well, socialize a bit.

Additionally, they could add exclusive decorations and cosmetics for dedicating yourself to a single job.
Example, maybe they have a “job” that’s a cake baking minigame, similar to those mobile bakery games where you have to fulfill orders by tossing ingredients into a pot or something.
Well, if you ‘work’ a full 5 hours in a week, you get a cake hat or something silly like that. Plus units, of course, scaling based on how well you performed at your job.
