Can someone clarify this for me? The PNG cut out option, will that cut out the black and shit in the picture or do you have to get a picture like the ones above. Will it auto crop it because if it does that’s pretty impressive
It’ll cut out the transparency parts, the alpha sections, it has to be a png with an alpha layer i believe, not sure if it’ll auto crop though, which is why ive tried to crop mine as close as i can, although that would be awesome if it automatically cropped

Here’s the thing though right, I dunno how well this is gonna actually work cuz when I tested it out I got these weird lines around him:
It might be because that obviously isn’t the transparent canvas, or maybe I just fucked up when I cropped him. I dunno
You gotta use the cutout mode with the canvas. This is not released yet.

But are those lines going to appear on the cutout version? That’s what I’m worried about. The only reason why I tried it out in the game now is to check if the resolution will look okay in game.
I guess these lines ARE the transparent background. Because you are using normal PNG, it doesn’t make that area invisible and shows it as white lines. It should work fine when using cutout mode.
Transparent png images don’t appear right at the moment, that’s why the feature is being made
I imagine the lines wouldn’t be there in the cut-out versions, if they were, then the feature would be kinda useless 
My reason for being worried is because apparently this is a thing:
It might be caused by something obvious like lighting or something, I tried getting more screenshots from the OP but they haven’t responded. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
It certainly does look like lighting affecting it, hopefully it wont affect the transparency bit. I suppose we just have to wait and see
