Whenever I join an underwater condo, my game goes thru the first 2 loading sequences. Then in the final one, the game closes and I get a window that says fatal error. I can recreate this, as it happens with any underwater condo I attempt to join. I cannot test this in my own condo because I do not have the underwater condo, so I don’t know if the same thing happens there.
Are you able to post a crash dump?
Also, I would try verifying your game cache as well.
