"Select self" for item picker under connections

It would be very useful for the “connections” item picker to have a quickly accessible button to select “self”, in other words, to select the object I’m editing the connections of.

This/Self instance selector in Condo IO

It should be easier for an item to refer to itself when setting up IO connections instead of giving the item a unique ID/tag and pointing any connections to the tag Maybe a new connection from an item should refer to itself by default instead of just “NO ITEM” This principle comes up pretty often in object oriented programming, eg. in pseudocode Lua has self.{property} PHP has $this->{property} JavaScript has this.{property}

Not surprised that this has been brought up before. I’m going through my condo trying to make specific lights unable to be turned off (by making them toggle themselves back on when toggled off), and when multiple instances of the same object are nearby it can be very frustrating trying to find the right one in the list.
