Halloween, Winter Holiday & Anniversary Events only reward Ghoul/Holiday/Anniversary Coins and the more new items that’s reccently added, the less people (including new players) would buy all of them while trying to get seasonal coins during the events. so the best way to solve that problem is by making them outside of those events and have it be on Weekend Events in specific days via Calander and even on specific Offical/Unoffical Holidays & Special Days. for example:
- WInter Holiday Event on around Christmas in July.
- Anniversary Event on around birthday of Steam (since it’s now 20+ years old) & on around the the original release of Gmod Tower.
- Halloween Event on around Summerween (which is a reference to a halloween-themed episode from Gravity Falls).
not all of them have to affect the lobby (idk and don’t remembered if you can still go to the Ghoulcery shop if you didn’t do the ghost puppy maze quest) & main menu. just have the npcs, collect-a-thon (remains / presents / trick or treat) and minigames stay the same just like how most of them appear in anniversary event.
Additional Note: seasonal weekly/weekend events and other events (minigolf, arcade double tickets, etc.) can coexist on same days, so that it would give players both ways to farm just like normal seasonal events.
i’ve already posted this as originally a small & low-effort request on the Tower Unite survey. but since the halloween event now has too many items requiring expensive ghoul coins alot of people complain about and the event is about to end soon, i’ve decided to add more details about it.
