What do you mean by RTX? Some kind of proprietary NVIDIA raytracing fuckery? I’d go Vulkan instead.

The newest updates to UE4, 4.22 and 4.23, support RTX. The developers cannot update past version 4.19 due to complications with Workshop support.

Not only is it proprietary, it’s also inferior to Path-tracing.

I’d wait until Path-tracing cores (that are hopefully Open-source) are a thing

So?

Hey, imagine - and I’m just saying imagine - all graphics software, the drivers and optimizations and utilities, were open source and the GPU market competition was reduced to actually making the better hardware! Just a random unrealistic side-thought. I share your hope.
