Back in the old days of Garry’s Mod, there was a gamemode called Sassilization that had quick RTS type games. Maybe not a copy of Sassilization, but a quick RTS styled game could be quite interesting and a good mix of skill and fun.

something quick enough to not be in the gameworld ports, it could be possible as an arcade game too.
sassilization was awesome, it’d be a cool tribute for sure, i’m curious as to where it could fit in.
