# Poker 5 High Straights not being recognized, nor do splits

The problem with 5 High Straights not being recognized as a straight is persistent with both Texus Hold’Em poker and Video Poker. For context, the Ace within Poker can act as both “Above the King” and “Below the 2” for a straight. The “Above the King” ace straight works fine, but “Below the 2” does not. I’ve tested this for both Texus Hold’em and Video Poker. I do have a picture as evidence for Video Poker, but not for Texus.

Lastly, within traditional Texus Hold’em, when both players have the exact same hand, disregarding suits, then the pot is split between those players. Unfortunately, within our current Texus Hold’Em, They’re organised by suits, for example, if both players had a 7 high straight, the player with a Spade 7 would win over the Club 7.

Ah, I must have missed that on the rule board.

Regardless, that’s not a normal rule within poker, aces have traditionally been a substitute for “1” for straights.
