Using @Clippy’s method of downloading old versions of TU, I was able to go back to 0.0.7.0. If you’re too lazy to go through the pain of downloading it, I have prepared a bunch of screenshots. If I remember correctly, they changed the lighting engine. ---

God, I legit miss the old pre-day-and-night-cycle lighting engine, and I also legit miss the old condo outside (before they changed it to the okay-looking beach). The old garden had a really nice aesthetic. I wish there was a way you could keep it in your current condo… ---

Yeah, they did downgrade a lot of the graphics for performance and optimizations. I wish there was a way to get it back though, for specific people. Like some kind of special “ultra graphics mode”, even if it require a restart. Cause i’m pretty sure it’s on a different lighting engine now. Doubtful that it’s possible to just “switch around the lighting engine” on the fly, though. ---

So I wasn’t going crazy when I noticed the alpha builds looked better.
