![junecontest25 copy](https://forums.pixeltailgames.com/uploads/default/original/3X/c/4/c4c643dc539575eb8b48776344d00e7fda14fb17.jpeg) Hey everyone, its time for another Condo Contest! ### šŸŖ This time, we want you to share a build involving **a restaurant or store**! šŸŖ Thereā€™s a lot of ways to go with this one, so weā€™re excited to see what you guys do! **For restaurants:** this includes cafes, bars, fast food places, pubs, sit-down restaurants, smoothie places, ice cream stores - anywhere that serves food or drinks. **For stores:** again, it just has to be some kind of store- a grocery store, record store, furniture store, electronics store, convenience store, game store- whatever! If you want to make something like a salon or barber shop, auto shop, or other specialty shop, that works too! **And, feel free to have any combination of both if you want.** The sample picture was made in one of the empty stores in the Resort Condo; so if you want to show off your Resort Condo or a similar mall-style build, go ahead! In every city, in every town, sometimes even on every block, thereā€™s just a small set of shops, away from prying eyes. They donā€™t get as much customers as the ones right on main street, but the customers they do get are regulars, loyal to the brand, and theyā€™re easier to care for. Occasionally a tourist or a young city explorer finds their way into these side shops, and finds reasonable deals from a plethora of personalities. Some people live in the side street, in small abodes above their respectful shops, but most make their home in other close apartments. A staple of rural areas is the random family-owned cafe or restaurant with a little gas station/rest-stop right next to it, usually converted from abandoned buildings. Also, for overall theming, I was going for a rainy fall day in October 1988, right before Halloween. The Moonstone Cafe is based on Mikaela Reid, one of my favorite survivors from the game, Dead by Daylight. The logo, cafe name, and color scheme are based on her character, but beyond that, I took creative liberty. I wanted to capture that ā€œweirdā€ energy as much as possible, so I focused on aliens, cryptids, witchcraft, and generally spooky themes to decorate the cafe. Rowdy Rex Fossil Fuels is a gas station that is completely original in its name and design. I simply wanted the theme to be.. dinosaurs!! This is my very own Waffle House! I tried to build it completely off reference to the best of my ability. I feel like I did _at least_ a decent job. Some things are missing but I feel like got the core Waffle House experience.
