as you can see the items only un-equip when dragged onto another item, i think to improve it should un-equip when dragged into the big area that holds the icons for the items (like im doing in the gif)
Yeah, this is something that both confused my friend and I at first.

Yeah, it’s always been kinda odd to deal with. It’s much better with the new inventory system since items aren’t showing incorrectly anymore, but it’s still not easy to deal with the menu.
This will be addressed in 0.8.0.1.
