Game audio sounds like it's underwater

I tried getting max range with my cast, i was spamming left click constantly, slowly inching down to try and get the max range, it cast out my line but the animation didn’t go out, i went to my fishing hook with the area as it would and i couldn’t move my camera, left click, right click, nothing. I disconnected from that server and as it was loading me back into the main menu, people, sound effects and everything was muffled as if i was underwater.
