Because I ha—love condo building as of recent (I got burnt out on I/O chess design for now) I have gotten to experience lights. I know its an engine limitation that lighting behaves as it does. But the effort it takes to make light setups that don’t clip into nearby rooms is almost unreasonable.
Please add like, an FX light stick that just outputs Light in a cylinder and renders as wireframe while in build mode. I have far too many of these small FX lights that I now need to wire to a light switch.
This is a spliced picture of the inside of my guest bathroom, The right side has lights visible. You can imagine just how many lights I will need to place across the whole house and use connections for. This is really unfortunate. A vertical Light FX Cylinder would greatly cut down the amount people need to place to achieve this effect.
