When I tried downlaoding Tower Unite it said that i needed to get Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 runtime I got it and i get an error 0x80240017 - Unspecified error.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Before you try anything crazy (Like reinstalling your OS) try deciding if your system is compatible and will run the game.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
OS: Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit)
Processor: 2.4 GHz Dual-Core 64-bit CPU
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: DX10 Compatible GPU with 1 GB VRAM
DirectX: Version 10
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 12 GB available space
A lot of people have posts just like this. If you search for “Needs Microsoft Visual C++ 2015,” you should find people with the same problem.
The best way to fix this would be to reinstall both the x86 and x64 of the 2015 versions of Microsoft Visuals. Some have even done this for 2013 as well.
This could be risky for some. So try to look for others solutions and find what works better for you.
