so I remember a dev saying there would be a better version of the wowozela coming as a cosmic catsack item, but I tried to find where that was said but I couldn’t find anything about it. Is this a thing or am I going insane?

It was definitely planned. It’s basically better looking effects.

Have plans changed?
Personally I’d prefer the two Wowozelas to serve different purposes instead of one being a direct upgrade. Maybe the Cosmic Wowozela focuses on having the visual effects be interchangeable (swap out the orbs for different particle effects) that have specific sfx while the Arcade Wowozela focuses on the sfx themselves?
