Discussion about what makes a good/bad trivia question

It’s annoying stumbling across terrible trivia questions that are completely impossible to solve for anybody who hasn’t watched a movie or TV show religiously or played a certain series without blindly guessing the answer.

Also please can most of the Guild Wars 2 questions be removed?
As you can see, the same person has submitted about 50 guild wars 2 questions. I have yet to see anyone actually know the answers and they are way too common because there are so many. (1.5% of all questions are about Guild Wars 2 at the moment)

I’ve crunched the numbers and out of 807 total video game questions, 36 concern Guild Wars 2. This is ~4.46% of the total trivia pool concerning video games. Out of the hundreds of thousands of video games out there and even more potential questions about gaming history, developers, etc., this represents a very significant portion.
I understand that submitter “TissueHime” is very enthusiastic about Guild Wars 2, but a lot of these questions are things nobody would know unless they extensively played the game. Having specific or weird questions is okay if it’s not overdone. Having fifteen questions about endgame equipment models is excessive. Questions about the names of home instances for five different races in-game are not “Medium” questions, unless your topic is “Entertainment: Guild Wars 2”.

A good question would be something that anybody could solve. Like if you walked up to a random guy on the street and asked him “How many innings does a baseball game have”
He could probably answer it, but if you asked the same guy “In Dungeons, Dungeons, and more Dungeons, what is the common name for a goblin who’s mother is older than 30 but less than 40, and who’s second cousin is female, but not male?” He probably could not answer the question. If I join trivia game I expect to be able to enjoy it without muttering to myself “who the hell writes this stuff?”
