A chat setting (like local or global) that only transmits in the area you’re in (ex. casino, beach, trivia)

I always had Global chat turned off in GMT, and local chat turned on. I miss this function.
I miss all the chat filters, like disabling the Join/Leave messages and achievements and jackpots. All I really care to see in the chat is when someone says something and it’s near me.

You wouldn’t believe how many people confuse Local chat for Area chat. This is a must-have feature, in my opinion.

In GMT, the tick marker called it local chat. Technically it means the same thing, but to each their own.
Personally, I’d prefer if the three chat labels were Global, Server, and Local. Local as a word doesn’t really feel like it should let you talk to someone on the other side of a resort. Regardless, I still support this idea.
