What I mean by this is that any device that can play media still causes considerable lag when turned off, so an option to disable the media player permanently and place it as a non-responsive prop would be great and would help cut down lag massively.
seconded, i always use tvs as props but rather have specific media rooms. i also notice the lag when entering a part of my condo that has a media player in it even while “off”
Media players when turned off don’t do anything, they get completely turned off. Are you sure this isn’t something else causing the lag?

I mean it’s a big empty room with a couch and a tv and I’ll have frame rate issues. I can test it more out later in an empty condo by itself and I’ll fiddle with settings see if i can narrow down what it is specifically.
