Rain??
Rain!!
is this about wind-force on rain?
No, it’s about how I made sure that when you walk around, the particle emitter moves in front of you so it won’t look like the rain isn’t some micro local shower that follows you around.
I’ve seen this idea used in games before, but I always noticed that it wasn’t raining in the distance, like if you look about 30 yards in front of you it’s actually dry, and you can see water in the distance is standing, not splooshy splashy by the falling rain. Will it look like it’s raining everywhere with this?
Ah alright XP thanks for the clarification, keep up the good work though
I wonder how raining would look when there are many people in the same area. Also, what happens when you run with the speed shoes or walk sideways/backwards? I hope the particle system accounts for these possibilities.
The particle effects themselves are probably going to be client side and not server side to prevent this. At least that’s my guess.

Oh boy.
OH BOY
Looks like this update is ready, coming from the Trello. I’m excited as hell, gonna be fun.
What does this mean tho.
it means your TU data is backed up to the Steam Cloud
not caboose
What does that mean it’s live now? Is the 0.1.5.0 update released? Or just the 0.1.4.1 update?
0.1.5.0 isn’t released and there’s no 0.1.4.1.
The new Steam Cloud stuff’s available now, instead of when 0.1.5.0’s released, I’m guessing. Not a new patch or anything though.
Steam Cloud changes didn’t require a patch to the game.
