Items attached to a mover (controllable in this case) are disappearing or becoming distorted for all clients joining a condo, but not for the host, even when the mover is not activated.
I have a condo in which players ride on a train on a perpetual journey. The train itself does not move, the world moves around it to keep the player movements bearable. Once I got the first area completed and connected to the mover however, all trees, telephone poles, and various other items vanished for any clients, while some are flattened, misaligned, or incorrectly scaled. All items remain and appear correct for the host.
Steps to Reproduce
The moving strip of land is 5 cubes of 500x500x1 size, which are placed and grouped at coordinates of -50,000 , -25,000, 0, 25,000, and 50,000 for convenience in math. All terrain attaches to this. I have these attached to a mover 5000 units below ground. The movement of the mover doesn’t matter, as this bug manifests even when the mover has been given no commands.
What I expected to happen
For the terrain to move as I it appears for the host.
What happened
Most items disappearing or becoming distorted. Largely, all in-game item trees, telephone poles, and some other items all disappear. Some other items like grass or bushes get squished down into a flat plane. I use canvas rugs for sections of road, and some of them are perfectly fine, while others are squished as well, seemingly at random.
Notes / Media
All I can do is speculate on this one, the terrain piece in question has 952 items in its group. This is the largest item count I’ve stuck on a mover, but not by that much. I’ve had custom vehicles with over 500 before in other condos that worked fine, so I’m unsure on that front.
My only other guess currently is perhaps something about movers does not like the scale of the number coordinates involved? But some items seem relatively ok. The ground itself is fine, some items, such as canvas statues or rugs are sometimes ok, but not others. Other items, as can be seen on the house (canvas polygons in this case) become misaligned and incorrectly scaled.
I have included some shots from someone experiencing the bug, and some shots of how they appear to the host, and done my best to get them as a shot for shot comparison of the same areas for emphasis.
