[1.1.4.1] In-game media forces YouTube Closed Captions with no options to disable it (CEF Guest Bug)

So lately I’ve been dealing with Closed Captions that keep popping up whenever I’m playing a video on YouTube when it’s not supposed to as CC should be off by default, but the latest update had certain videos enabling CC, even though I had CC turned off from the browser. The game completely ignores it altogether.

Steps to Reproduce

Having an option to have CC off or on depending on user preference, which should be turned off by default when playing a YouTube video inside the Condo.

What I expected to happen

Have videos play normally without the intrusive CC enabled when in the Condo.

What happened

YouTube’s Closed Captions were enabled despite the fact that I had Closed Captions turned off from the selected video with no real way to turn it off when inside the Condo.

Unfortunately this appears to be something YouTube did in the last month or so with some roll-out; I was among the first to get this, lucky me, and it only affected a few videos at first. My friends who were watching the same videos in the same condo at the same time didn’t start getting captions until this week.

Other services, such as CyTube, have this issue as well so it’s an API-wide change we have no control over… the options that are MEANT to affect captions have no effect anymore. It’s possible this is just a bug on YouTube’s end and will be fixed in the future… but knowing their trajectory, I don’t have my hopes up.
