# \[1.1.4.1\] Ballrace customs boosts still broken

vertical boosts not working in customs still. the orignal fix worked. after a comment was made about the boosts being “too strong” or however it was phrased, another ball race patch was done and all it did was make a lot of the custom maps stop working again in multiplayer. the fix was fine before bluelighted suggested them being fixed again. the boosts being stronger (i didnt feel that they were and i mostly play customs) actually allows for people to get new times on the leaderboard and doesnt time lock a lot of the levels.

The boost fix that was made recently was fixing the boosts not even activating to clients. No force changes were made to them.
