[1.1.3.0] SDNL weapons broken on spawn as host on Arcade

As host, after a death, the weapon bar does not match up with the given weapons. All weapons are labeled as “unknown” when trying to scroll between them; the number keys do not work for selecting weapons. This makes it near-impossible to consistently switch between weapons, an important part of SDNL Arcade.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Host an SDNL match on any map
  2. Start a game of Arcade
  3. Die
  4. Respawn
  5. Try to switch to a weapon using either number keys or scroll wheel
  6. Repeat 3-5 until bug happens (shouldn’t take that long!)

What I expected to happen

Ideally, as was the case pre-update, the weapons would be properly labelled and predictably selectable.

What happened

Dying seems to be the main cause; it’s not guaranteed on death but it’s likely from the looks of it.

Note: picking up a weapon undoes the bug! Most noticeable when picking up a superweapon; the weapons bar will properly update to the actual, current loadout (incl. the weapon).

Addendum: I’ve noticed, with bad enough ping(? or a poor connection?), the issue happens momentarily when playing as a non-host. For example, I’d spawn in, have the null weapons, and then after a quarter-second or so it’d properly update my weapons to what they should be. Just something of note.

Bumping this; it hasn’t been long but this wasn’t fixed in the recent patch and it’s a pretty major bug regarding SDNL. I’m tired of playing gun game but if you try and suggest a match of any loadout-based gamemode (most obviously Arcade, but it also happens in Oddball and I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened in CTF) it’s borderline unplayable as host.
