# \[1.0.0.0\] Libretro Black screen, no games play

# Steps to Reproduce

Place any libretro compatible media device in condo  
Edit object, browse folder and load rom

## What I expected to happen

Plays a libretro rom

## What happened

Black screen, nothing loads

# Notes / Media

I’ve tried a few different roms with different supported cores and have the same issue. I believe the issue arises from my Libretro cores folder being empty. I’ve verified the file integrity of the Tower Unite installation and restarted the game to try and redownload it, but it doesn’t do anything. Not sure what other steps I can take.

Do you have any anti-virus software that might have removed TURACDL.exe?

Your Libretro folder should look like this.

Without turacdl, Tower won’t download any of the emulator cores that you need to use Libretro.

I have no anti-virus software outside of Windows Defender/Firewall/WIn 11 base security settings.

I do have the turacdl exe in my Libretro folder
