# \[0.8.1.0\] Typing Derby final word not working

This seems to happen when you get a lag spike at the end of typing derby. The final word fails to register and you get stuck in a limbo state where the game thinks you don’t have any words left to type, wont accept any input, but doesn’t count you as finishing it.
