So, I managed to slay the boss alone while on 15 health and when I killed about the 4 zombies that were labeled as the remaining zombies, I was hit from behind by a spider and died with 0 lives. (turned into a zombie) Meanwhile, the game was prompting me to board the helicopter while there were 2 other spiders roaming the playfield. Once the timer ran out, I “survived” according to the game and the end played out as if I never died.
