Well, I’m not sure if this was intentional or not, but you cannot spawn as many items you own as you want now, in the playground.
In fact, you can only spawn the number of exemplars you own of that same item.
eeeeeyyyyy!, i was the one that tried it and it didn’t work! 
This is a known issue internally, and will be fixed in a future update.
