[0.16.8.1] Libretro console will not connect to a Projector until a snapshot is saved and reloaded

When connecting a Libretro console to a Projector, the connection does not immediately establish as it does on a standard Media Player, and will not connect, even after such a connection is manually made, until a snapshot has been saved and then loaded.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Place a Libretro console and connect it to a Projector.
  2. Try to play a game. Camera moves to a different location than expected and the game does not start.
  3. Save a snapshot.
  4. Load the snapshot.
  5. Play the game again.

What I expected to happen

The console should be able to connect to the Projector and output a video signal without requiring a reload.

What happened

The console would not connect to the Projector at all until a snapshot was saved and reloaded. Attempting to use the console before this point will cause the camera to move to a different location and the game does not start.

This is actually a really annoying bug with the connection editor. It doesn’t seem to make persistent connections properly, but the wiring tool will work.

I’ll work on resolving this.
