[0.16.3.0] Physics objects do not honour Simulate Physics On Respawn at load time

I placed physics object on a wall, the Throwable Life Ring in this case.

It spawns with physics disabled by default, which is ideal.

I edit its properties to enable Respawn After Thrown, set its Respawn Location, and to double check that Simulate Physics On Respawn is disabled.

Logic being that a player can pick it up from the wall, toss it, and after a delay it will reappear back at the wall, ready to be picked up and tossed again.

However, when closing the condo and reopening/reloading, the Throwable Life Ring falls off the wall from its spawn point of its own volition, regardless if or not it’s set to Simulate Physics On Respawn.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Place physics object
  • Enable respawning, set a respawn point, set a respawn delay, check that Respawn Physics is OFF
  • Quit out
  • Reload

The normal behavior.

Bump, still happening in [0.16.9.0].

Expected to honor my Respawn Physics option on Condo load, yet objects fling themselves onto the floor instantly.
