If you scale a teleporter item with the space effect up real big (about 200 scale X and Y is where it seems to start), your FPS will drop by a ton (down 20-30 frames on my PC).

This is probably due to the particle effects. I can look into it, but the teleport volume will make what you are doing a lot better than using the teleporter item.
