Periodically when you infect the survivors the weapon feed shows u killed them with a white cube instead of the regular infection symbol. This causes them to just re-spawn as humans and not become infected.
I like it because sometimes the zombs spawn right on top of you (even if you weren’t camping). I think it is a great balance to the TNT feature.

It happens when you try to infect immediately after respawning. Like before you ignite.

Yes, exactly. There is a very tiny window in which you spawn before you ignite in which you can sometimes infect survivors which white-boxes them. I still think it’s a good balance to the TNT blowing up fellow survivors, which I still am calling a feature.
