[] Low Level Fatal Error?

Opened up my laptop. I exit out of TU completely when I get off but if I’ve played TU recently to the “sleep” my laptop turns itself back on, so I have to turn it back to sleep. I’ve seen this error on more than one occasion. Not sure if this is the kind of crash dump you’re looking for.

LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 1114]
GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 1795.89 secs

The error is saying that your graphics card was too weak to handle the graphics in TU.
Basically it happens when the graphics card can’t keep up with the workload and falls too far behind to keep up.

Based on what you just said and given that the timer says 1795 seconds instead of the default 30, the reason for why it happened here would be because the laptop went into sleep mode which basically suspends or closes most processes and sets the hardware to run much slower while it’s in said mode, thus meaning the computer can’t run TU.

I’m not sure how that can be true. I have 16GB dedicated / GTX1070 on one, and 8 GB dedicated 2050 on the other.

I agree with mouse on that, - I had the same issue just now with a graphics card that can keep up with even borderlands while running a complete randomizer

If being said is true, this game is unoptimized to the point pixeltail is fighting the fun pimps is the most unoptimized game. xD

Someone in-game told me the links I’m providing can’t be opened so…here’s a different version? It looks like I had three that day, so I’m posting all three here because Mega doesn’t tell me which ones are which.

Borderlands is considered a last gen game, it came out in 2009. Most hardware should run that easily these days. Tower uses Unreal 4 which can be harder to run on less suitable hardware.

From what you described it sounds like your laptop is shutting down because of heat related issues. Have you ran diagnostics on your laptop temps when running the game?

The laptop itself is not turning off and is not throttling (from what I can tell?) but I am not sure how to run those diagnostics. It is less than 6 months old, though. I am also not sure if it is the same problem that I am having on my desktop? Both are VR-capable so I’m assuming they shouldn’t?

I have downloaded Intel’s Extreme Tuning Utility to see about the temp issue

Heavysteam: I can’t reply to anyone but you for some reason lol (I think I may have been muted)

I downloaded the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and this is the information it gave me for my laptop:

And for my desktop:

Any suggestions?
