I’m a huge fan of the game but sadly didn’t know about it until after it was too late to back it and get the awesome rewards (namely golden watch) and was wondering if you will ever be able to get them again? I would be happy to pay $60 for it if it became available for even a short period of time or something of the sort.
No, there won’t be any return of the backer rewards. It would be too close to allowing microtransactions as opposed to exclusively being backer rewards. Besides, if they were opened once more, people that missed the second opportunity would ask for a third and so on.

I think it’s been said multiple times that this won’t be happening. I mean it wouldn’t be backer rewards if they turned into regular super rare items for the financially unrestricted…

As much as I would like the items too, I can understand how the people who first backed the game would feel cheated. When they offered backer, they needed a push so they could work on the game as a job.
