Pick your router from the list, there’s detailed instructions there.

Okay, I’m having trouble after updating. I went into steamcmd and ran the app_update command, but whenever anyone tries to join, it says incompatible version. Help?

Maybe make a Bug Report post.

My update script had no issues on Linux.

I have setup my server and it is on server browser and I can log in with no problem. However none of my casino machines work. I am getting a “AGC not initialized: connection failed”. How can I fix this?

Thanks!

At the moment, the AGC (the core security system for the Casino and a couple other things) only works on the official servers. No Plaza games will payout and the casino will not function outside of an official lobby.

Hello thread, I’m currently having an issue connecting to my tower unite server on a local network, to give more depth.

-Running on a dedicated server machine with ethernet access
-Client is main gaming rig
-Ports are forwarded for steam (27000-27050) and peer to peer
-Multihome is set-up to local dedicated machine with static ip
-Shows up on steam server browser as lan but can’t use that
version to connect to the server.
-however does not show up on the TU server browser
-steam gui is set-up and authenticated
-my launch script is as follows

“C:\Users\Server\Desktop\Steam Servers\towerunite\TowerServer.exe” -log -MULTIHOME=###.###.###.### -Queryport=27016 -port=7778 -nosteamclient

Server Name: [Perth] Tower Of Lads

So my issue is how to connect to a lan game on the same network.

Will the AGC (the core security system for the Casino) be available for unofficial servers like mine? I like running my own server because it gives you the opportunity to kick/ban players that come in and troll or just are unfriendly in general.

I do like the official servers and enjoy playing in them. However, I have been in some of them at times and have had to deal with really weird players that sometimes by how they act and what I hear them say give me the impression that they are pedophiles or predators of some kind and it makes me feel angry and uncomfortable. I know that the AGC system is to accurately monitor and control the Units/Winnings/Payouts/Purchases/Player Accounting which is fine with me and SHOULD be controlled by a third party to prevent any server Owners/Admins from just granting Units/Winnings to players they wish, (Which would totally take the FUN out of the game)!

If this is too much to implement, Maybe just a simple Vote Kick with time option would be a good idea. Keeping in mind, that you could ONLY initiate a Vote Kick so many times per game session to prevent players from just Vote Kicking other players to hog up certain servers or casino games or spots.

Let me know your thoughts and if maybe I should post the above in game/server ideas. I Love the game and concept!

Thanks! :grinning:

At the moment, the AGC does not function on unofficial servers. However it’s planned to come to unofficial servers in the future.
