Hey, so thought I’d mention this here, but Twitch just released a desktop app that has chat, group chats with multiple rooms, and video chat + screensharing. I can definitely tell they’re realizing the power that Discord has and they’re trying to compete with it.
Tell me what you guys think of it. I’m really curious.

How so? Not being patronizing, just curious. I haven’t tried managing a server myself.
Because when I think great chat I think Twitch…
Discord is already established and has had a year to develop, I don’t suspect anyone’s gonna switch anytime soon.
Discord servers have a lot of settings making it super manageable also we can have bots and stuff which is fun. Bots that are easier to manage than Twitch bots and also custom coloured names rather than preset colours.
I know most people aren’t gonna switch from Discord. I just think it’s neat that a competitor has finally come out of the shadows (even if the majority isn’t going to use it).
