First idea, what if we could change the rotation radius on the security cameras or lock it at a specific angle? It can only pan about 60-70° right now, and at a very slow pace. Being able to change the pan speed would also be helpful.
Second, being able to watch security cameras through media players. This could work in conjunction with the upcoming logic gate system that @Zak mentioned:
Just a thought. IMO the security cameras are a little overpriced for what functionality they have, and this could make things more interesting.
The 2nd idea has already been answered on a dev stream.
Mac would like to make it work like that, however I believe there would be the issue of it being a big eater of FPS.
As even having multiple media players permanently active really hurts your frames.
We could still do the screens as long as they update slowly. Lowing the FPS of the screen makes it better. Another option could be that only 3 or 4 screens can be active at the same time.
I do think it would be cool if the security camera could auto look at players near it, as well.
