All of the players in China is complaining about the media player. Because the GFW is not allowing anyone connect to Youtube or Soundcloud directly in China. This problem cames from the government, and is not going to be solved any time soon. So I suggests that maybe you can let media player in game support some of the chinese websites.

Thanks for the suggestion. We don’t have any plans to integrate more services into the media players at this time, as each service has to be handled individually to get it synced up, and each service operates differently.
After Early Access, should there be sufficient demand, we can continue to look into new services.
