Does OpenTDB still update trivia?
Yes.
OpenTDB is a database, so it technically isn’t related to Trivia. Trivia doesn’t store any questions itself, it simply gets them from the database through an API. Think of it like visiting a website: you don’t have the entire internet on your computer, you simply ask the web address to send you the content it has at the time. The site could change drastically, but you don’t need to update your browser because of this.
