I Decided to Try to Predict the Lobby 1 Condo's Price

A while ago, the Lobby 1 condo was announced and I decided to guess the price for it now. To predict this price, I’ll look at everything each area of the map has and decide a price for each area as if they were condos themselves, then add it all up at the end.

Main Lobby

  • Transit Station: The first area you see when you enter the tower. It’s a pretty small area but has enough size to do some creative things inside. This area would also most likely let you go back to the Plaza.
    Price: 20,000 Units

  • Fountain Room: It’s a pretty big room and it’s very tall. The floating platform’s also pretty cool. But, maybe the foliage should be removed, since you can buy it yourself. It also has a few secret hallways!
    Price: 40,000 Units

  • Theater: A ‘radical’ place to ‘chill out’ with your ‘dudes’. Since there’s a theater screen item already, I’m not sure that the theater screen already inside the theater would work or not, but if it does work that would make this area much more valuable. This area also includes one of the most popular easter eggs of GMT (the moon theater)!
    Price: 45,000 Units

  • Teleporter Room: This place lets you travel to the Gamemode ports or Suites. The suite and gamemode areas have a copy of this room. Not very special at all, but you can make something nice in here.
    Price: 5,000 Units

  • Shopping Area: This place has a lounge, 3 shopping areas, the casino, and the arcade. The arcade and casino could be very nice, but there probably won’t be any casino games or arcade machines already inside the areas, so they won’t be very special. Those rooms are still very big and can be used for great building ideas, though! The lounge is a huge area, and it will be great for building. But, the foliage and seats here should be removed as they can be bought in the Plaza. And, the shops may work with community condos, so that would be great!
    Price: 300,000 Units

Outdoor Area

  • Field Area: The first area you see when you enter the outdoors from the transit station. It has some hills, a lake, and a cabin. It’s a big area, too.
    Price: 40,000 Units
  • Pool Area: A big area with two pools. It also has a bar and hot tub area. It’s very big and can be used for great water and non-water related things.
    Price: 60,000 Units

Suite Area

  • Check in & Hallways: Not very big, but you could make something cool here.
    Price: 10,000 Units

  • Shops: There are 2 shops for furniture and wall items in one of the 3 hallways. They may work with community condos, like the shops in the shopping area.
    Price: 15,000 Units

  • Suites: Exactly the same as the 30,000 Unit Suite purchasable now, but there are 25 of them. 30,000 Units times 25 is a whole 750,000 Units, but this area most likely wouldn’t be worth as much as that. With community condos, people could will be able to check in to their own suite, which is very ‘radical’ (in my opinion)!
    Price: 250,000 Units

Gamemode Ports

  • Gamemode Ports: A big room with small sections for each gamemode in GMT. It’s a very big area, and is bigger than the lounging area in the shopping area! If the gamemode ports work (you could join Game Worlds from this area), it would be a lot more valuable.
    Price: 75,000 Units

Total
Adding up all of the numbers, I predict that the Lobby 1 condo would cost around 865,000 Units. If the developers wanted to round this up, it could be 870,000, or even 900,000 Units. Maybe even 1,000,000! You should believe what I say without a single grain of salt, as I am actually a magical genie living in a tea kettle that can predict the future, and I know 101% that all of this is completely true, and that this condo will definitely 102% be worth the third price I predicted and cannot change or be different in any way, shape, or form. I also never ever make any mistakes.*

*The actual predicting wasn’t a joke, in case I was unclear. I don’t like being unclear.

only 765k,
That’s rather cheap to be honest given the size of the first lobby, also you forgot to calculate the price of the pool area, bad genie get back in your bottle, no magical lamp polish for you tonight.

As the poster said above, that price seems relatively low, especially since this condo will be a community condo and acting as basically a mini lobby. I personally am excited for the community condo as I have tons of friends that would enjoy having something like this to all build together and share with each-other. My price estimates are ranging from 2-4 million as along with all the space and features that go along with it we have the community condo aspect, something that adds major value to the condo itself. There’s just so much to Lobby One I doubt it’s going to be worth less than two underwater condos.

I’m thinking it’s going to cost one million units on the dot. Not unrealistic, but certainly something you have to work for unless you get a jackpot.

It’s a HUGE condo - the largest we’ve ever seen - and a community condo at that. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the most expensive yet. I think it’s fair though, it’s going to be well worth the grind for players who loved old GMT.

I just don’t think that’s true, I loved GMT but the problem is. Yes i’d love to have the lobby one back, but it’s not a plaza. It’s a big condo and I think that’s a bit silly since we don’t even have any fun games and stuff to do in condos yet (like arcade cabinents and various other things) so you’d just have a none-fully functional GMT Lobby One plaza that you and your friends can build anywhere in. Just doesn’t fit being a community condo, considering it’s a plaza

Yeah, as much as I miss lobby one, I tend to agree. They really should just bring it back as another plaza server. Itd be much better that way

And thus the current plaza world was never used again.
All kidding aside either as a different plaza server or a secret area you can travel to and do stuff in would be pretty sweet.

Lol. Yeah, but to be fair, there’d still be plenty of reasons to use the current lobby. Laser tag, bowling, typing derby, and the current version of the casino, all don’t exist in lobby 1.

Unless the lobby 1 map gets a few overhauls and/or changes, which it will.
If we are really super lucky those changes might include an extended casino.

They’ve already shown it off. It’s identical to the original.

Almost completely identical, doesn’t look like the dev hq room is there, and looks like we are gonna have an reduced amount of suites.
Still close enough for me.

If I remember correctly, they never attempted to open the wall where the dev HQ is, so we don’t know if it’s there or not.

There was an dev HQ room once, then for some reason it seemed to have been reduced to a small room with a single chair and a door you could open where you would see a picture of the dev hq.

Awh man, I really hope the secrets are still in the Lobby 1 condo. The best parts were the moon, the Dev HQ, and the top of the tower.

In the stream where this condo was announced, Johanna said that every secret from the original Lobby 1 are in this condo. Proof: https://youtu.be/wj_mKVYjAzY?t=57m7s

Except for the part where we dont see the dev hq room that is suppose to have its entrance right in the corridor to the cinema.

Anyway id imagine the moon will be accessible given that the room to access it is in the map

Also, except for the part where that’s a WIP picture and, thus, isn’t finished yet.

Until you remember that johanna said she basically imported the map file.

Obviously not 100% or the dev hq would be there.

I doubt that johanna would lie in regards to what they have done in terms of work on the project 13 condo.

Also you can’t just import a specific parts of a map file.
