I have been at it for hours now. Please, someone help me. Every time I download the two files, and install them, they always result in an error.

Windows 7. I’ll be upgrading to 10 soon.
Alright, good. If you had Vista you’d be boned. If you haven’t already, try checking to see if there are any updates to Windows that you don’t have. If you’ve already tried that, I’m all out of ideas. Sorry.
just upgrade to windows 10, see if that fixes the problem, My friend has the exact same problem as you but he is windows 8
I’m upgrading to Windows 10 right now (86%). I’m also getting a better graphics card soon.
