"Dithering" effect in graphics

It’s kind of hard to see in the picture but there is this grainy effect it looks like it has to do with shaders?

I dont know if its just something wrong with my graphics but it really bothers me. Does this happen in all unreal engine games? Also is there a way to fix it?

Idk if dither is even the right word to use here but it looks similar to what im seeing ingame

That dithering is due to how Unreal does ambient occlusion. We want to have more finer controls over AO so you can adjust its quality (which will reduce the dithering) or disable it completely (which removes the dithering but you have no AO).
