Daily Dev Log for September 29th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, September 29th, 2017.
Tower Unite Developer Stream
@Zak continued working on the Chatbox UI, and helped @Foohy with configuring the central server.
@macdguy continued working on Plaza Minigames and Events. Today he created an event manager UI panel, which will allow admins to quickly start and stop any event, as well as see which events are currently ongoing. He also fixed events being manually stopped and started, before they could only be started. He fixed a bug with the minigame HUD showing up multiple times under certain circumstances, created animations for the gates that surround the fountain during minigame events, and fixed an replication issue with the animated fountain. An issue was also fixed where the minigames could just randomly break.
Aside from that, he helped @Deniz out with testing the AA Settings fixes on his computer.
@Foohy hooked up the Moderation API to the new endpoint, and fixed the central chat router not building on Linux.
@Lifeless continued working on the rail-based shooting gallery, focusing specifically on the cart.
@Madmijk created a bunch of items for the nature store.
@Johanna is out of town.
@Caboose700 configured the central server, setting up the Moderation API in it's new home.
@Krionikal continued working on art tests for Zombie Massacre.
@Deniz fixed another bug with the AA quality setting, added another menu option to change between FXAA and Temporal AA, and finished off pull request feedback. Now he's waiting on approval and will merge in the changes removing deprecated code.
