Daily Dev Log for September 27th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, September 27th, 2017.
@Zak reviewed some code changes @Deniz had done to remove deprecated code, hooked up the chat message structure to the chat box slate widget, and worked on a test case that will stream chat messages into the widget on a timer. Lastly, he spent some time trying to decide between using UObjects or Shared Objects (a FGCObject which contains UObjects as needed) for the chat metadata, leaning towards UObjects for simplicity, but still needs to do research on performance.
@macdguy doesn't work on Wednesdays.
@Foohy fixed an issue pertaining to inventory.
@Lifeless continued working on the rail-based shooting gallery.
@Matt worked on an art test for Zombie Massacre, creating street assets and a road line master material.
@MrSunabouzu continued working on art for Zombie Massacre.
@Madmijk finished the core of the new gameplay element for the upcoming Minigolf map, Odyssey.
@Johanna is out of town.
@Caboose700 doesn't work on Wednesdays.
@Wergulz finished the "zombie attack" variant from yesterday, finished blocking out two "zombie combo attacks", and finished blocking out the "zombie alert" animation.
@donglekumquat continued working on music for both Zombie Massacre and the Plaza.
@Krionikal continued working on a reload animation for the Revolver.
@Deniz continued working on upgrading deprecated code.
