Daily Dev Log for September 24th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, September 24th, 2017.
These'll be less action packed than the normal weekly daily dev logs as not everyone works weekends.
@Zak helped test minigames, and drafted up some designs for chatbox data structures.
@macdguy worked on Plaza Minigames. Today he ran testing sessions with @Krionikal, @Caboose700, @Zak, and @Foohy. Minigames now finish properly and clean things up, and moved the arena loading to the plaza fountain. He also fixed some weapon issues, improved the balloon networking, and fixed an issue where players who were already inside the minigame area weren't included in the minigame. The Minigame HUD was improved, payouts were discussed, and the finish announcement that contains the top scores was completed. Lastly, he created contextual score feedback (aka "long shot!"), finished making a physical 3D scoreboard, and finished toggling player damage for the minigames.
@Foohy helped test minigames and continued development of the central chat server (hooking up the Moderation API).
@Caboose700 tested the minigame system, and continued working on the Moderation API.
