Daily Dev Log for October 4th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, October 4th, 2017.
@Zak continued working on the Chatbox. Today he fixed bNewMesagesFlag false positives when the scrollbar is first created, and fixed a lingering bound delegate when the output stream is switched. He also fixed operator associativity on the Laser Projector compiler, and worked with @Deniz to try to solve a weird issue with the expression parser.
@macdguy doesn't work today. However, he Halloween-ified the Ferris wheel, wrote some more dialogue for the characters in preparation for the Halloween Events, and established the characters for the Halloween Event. He also worked on Plaza Events, starting work on the ghost minigame event for Halloween, cleaning up some logic with the minigames, and fixed a bug with the minigame debugger.
@Lifeless continued working on the rail-based shooting gallery.
@Madmijk investigated the laser projectors settings getting mixed up between different laser projectors, even after the update, and managed to reproduce it many times. He discussed this with @Zak and made some code changes. He also continued working on creating items for the Nature store, including Trees, Bushes, and yes, Rocks.
@Johanna continued remodeling the new sonic shotgun for Virus, getting really close.
@Caboose700 doesn't work today.
@Wergulz finished one basic run loop for the Zombie run cycle. He also continued working on that Zombie Run Cycle, making it a 3 cycled loop that has varying motion so that it isn't repetitive.
@Krionikal committed some general weapon system tweaks, continued working on art tests for Zombie Massacre, and started brainstorming Halloween items.
@Deniz narrowed down the ¼ screen brightness bug to screen space reflection code. He's working to determine if this is an engine bug and if it is, how to work around it. He also worked with @Zak to smash a bug in the Laser Projector code.
That’s what everyone at PixelTail Games has been working on today! See you all tomorrow!
