Daily Dev Log for November 20th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, November 20th, 2017.
@macdguy started migrating blueprints to the new version of Unreal Engine (4.18.1), fixing several blueprint errors and starting to refactor the gameplay settings. He also discussed every art asset required for Zombie Massacre with the team.
@Foohy helped migrate developers to the new Unreal Engine version, fixed a bunch of little bugs and conducted some code cleanup, and looked into issues with Simplygon.
@Lifeless helped migrate to Unreal Engine 4.18 with @Deniz due to issues with Tower modules, and discussed required assets and maps for Zombie Massacre with @macdguy.
@Matt upgraded his Unreal Engine version, while battling computer troubles.
@Madmijk updated his engine version.
@Johanna is working late tonight.
@Caboose700 transcribed the meeting about Zombie Massacre, upgraded his version of Unreal Engine, updated Clang on the build server to support building the Linux version of Tower Unite for Unreal Engine 4.18.1, and continued looking into long term storage solutions for art assets.
@donglekumquat continued working on reload sounds for the Sonic Shotgun, revisited some Zombie Massacre music, and continued making progress on Plaza music.
@Deniz pushed out the upgraded engine content and code, and assisted developers with upgrading their local development copies of the game.
