Daily Dev Log for June 5th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, June 5th, 2017.
Weekly Developer Meeting
- Discussed Daily Dev Logs
- Discussed about connecting Lobbies better
- Discussed about Arcade framework
@Zak has been in the hospital recovering from his recent lung surgery.
@macdguy started work on Arcade game base (for non 2D API games) and discussed about how to best handle networking scores and gamestates. He also fixed a Typing Derby regression due to the new game base changes for (0.3.1.2) that prevented players from not finishing properly. He also spent a bit of time today visiting Zak in the hospital.
@Foohy has been busy with school work and finals.
@Lifeless did some work on the SDNL map Containership. He worked on the Containership model itself, along with the individual containers. In addition, he also completed some texture work on those models.
@Matt continued his work on the replacement weapon for the M41A in Virus. The high poly model is nearing completion.
@MrSunabouzu has been working on substance materials for SDNL.
@Madmijk has been working on his Studio condo. He began to make the base fill lights for the photo / video room, as well as the sound proofing material on the ceiling in the audio room.
@Johanna is out of town until June 10th in South Korea.
@Caboose700 transcribed the Pixeltail Meeting Notes. He also wrote up the Daily Dev Log announcement, as well as today’s Daily Dev Log. In addition, he also began merging the codebase for an internal company oriented system.
@Wergulz worked on a revamped Run Cycle animation, and is also out of town at the moment.
@donglekumquat began moving to Los Angeles.
Deniz started working on sorting the Ball Race scoreboard by scores and acquainting himself with how the game framework works.
