Daily Dev Log for July 26th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, July 26th, 2017.
@Zak continued working on the global chat server.
@macdguy created dialogue and personas for the store NPCs to build characters for our lobby people. He also designed a mockup of a new Lobby server browser. He will be working all night tonight, as he had other matters to attend to during the day.
@Foohy fixed an issue with seats and noclip, fixed an issue where you couldn’t join official servers from Steam’s server browser / friends list, and fixed an issue where some errors weren’t be shown when attempting to join a server.
@Lifeless worked on some things.
@Matt continued working on some things, and started remastering the grand piano model because in his own words “it is trash”.
@MrSunabouzu started working on substance materials for Zombie Massacre, along with doing some research.
@Madmijk continued creating models for his SDNL map.
@Johanna continued her work on the art for the Virus map, Solar.
@Caboose700 continued working on the web portion on the Moderation API, finishing the “get_player_permissions”, “set_player_permissions”, “ban_user”, and “get_banned_users” API calls. He also created some text for the store NPCs.
@Wergulz finished the “casting” animations for Fishing. He also finished the “idle cast” and “holding” animations for the Fishing rod.
@donglekumquat prototyped Zombie Massacre and Plaza music.
