Daily Dev Log for July 17th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, July 17th, 2017.
@Zak gave a presentation about Condo IO to all of the developers, and worked more on the model format for Steam Workshop.
@macdguy spent the majority of the day dealing with internal company matters, but he fixed the chat being blocked by the Q menu changes from Friday. He also created a better item award HUD effect, made the gem item look more interesting, and finished the effects for the Always Lucky Slot Machine.
@Foohy refactored and implemented a bunch of steam stats functions. He implemented a few of these stats for testing, such as number of stems, number of E presses, and number of Golf Out of Bounds. He also met with @Caboose700 to discuss possible implementation methods for the central chat server, along with showing him the stats system, and also going over moderation tools. Other aspects that were talked about was networking player positions and other information. Lastly, he added an event to weapons for when they fire a projectile.
@Lifeless worked on fixing some of the camping spots on the Little Crusaders maps, and implemented @donglekumquat‘s music for the Khromidro Ball Race map on Saturday.
Today, he continued updating the visuals of the Minigolf map, Waterhole.
@Matt started working on Fishing items.
@MrSunabouzu continued working on items for Fishing.
@Johanna continued her work on the art for the Virus map, Solar.
@Caboose700 transcribed the weekly meeting notes, had a large conversation with @Foohy about the central chat server and moderation tools, and learned about the new stats system.
@Wergulz attended the weekly meeting and took the rest of the day off.
@donglekumquat took the day off.
@Krionikal fixed some particles, retextured the bag of units, and started working on animations for the confetti gun.
