Daily Dev Log for July 14th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, July 14th, 2017.
@Zak worked on the texture system for the custom model format for Steam Workshop. He also discussed the content creation pipeline with @Foohy.
@macdguy added new catsack related items to the manifest spreadsheet and created new icons for these new items. He also created new crab related items, such as the Party Crab, Cool Crab, Eternally Burning Crab, and the Eternally Frozen Crab. In addition, he made other items, such as the Always Lucky Slot Machine, Boulder Friend, Metal Melon, Potato Gun, and the Treasure Chest o’ Units.
@Foohy fixed a bug that would occur with using potions while in bowling or seats. He also did a quick code review with @Zak on the Steam Workshop tool, and made some minor inventory manifest tweaks and fixes. He created a pet turtle / flying base item, and fixed the wowozela not actually shipping.
@Lifeless continued working on the visual upgrades for the Minigolf map, Waterhole. He also made some small additions and fixes with the Ball Race map, Memories, and created a map icon and background for Khromidro. Lastly, he made most of the Ball Race maps (except for Prism and Paradise) use the new camera collision system. Prism and Paradise will be modified in the future.
@MrSunabouzu continued working on items for Fishing.
@Johanna continued her work on the art for the Virus map, Solar.
@Caboose700 updated the item manifest, created test builds of the client and server for the 0.3.4.0 update, and approved / rejected trivia questions.
@Wergulz reviewed the current crouch cycle animations with @macdguy, receiving some feedback. He made changes to the past crouch walk cycles, making them lower so that they’d match the collision box more, and addressed the foot placement and clipping issues as a result.
@donglekumquat finished working on music for the Ball Race map, Khromidro.
@Krionikal changed the crab material, and modified the crab particles.
